How to push through content fatigue as a wellness creator.

I know how tough it can feel to keep showing up online, even when you’re feeling discouraged, unmotivated, or disappointed.

Here are a few tips to keep you going, even when times feel exhausting!!!

Stop trying to cater your content to everyone.
A lot of people spend too much time worrying about what everyone thinks.

The truth is, not everyone is going to care about what you’re sharing. Harsh, but true!!

But the sooner you realize that, get over it, and focus on the people who really will care, the better.

Remember that when you’re talking to everyone, you’re talking to no one. Instead, focus on a very small, targeted group of people who will benefit from the information you are sharing with them. Even if you aren’t going viral, does it matter? it’s better to truly resonate with a small group who will be impacted!

Take the pressure off of performance.

Some posts will do amazing.

Others may “flop.”

The goal should no longer be virality. The goal should be creating savable, sharable content that will really resonate with your audience. (Even if it’s “small.”)

Keep going. Content underperformaing is NOT a reflection of your qualifications or skills as a wellness professional.

Bulk create when you’re actually feeling inspired.
We all know there are times in which we feel truly inspired, others in which we want to throw our phone in the ocean and crawl in a hole and never post on these apps again!

Ride on that wave of inspiration when you can.

Whether it’s during your ovulatory phase (when we are most creative!) or just when you have had enough caffeine to push through, create as many posts (and captions) as you possibly can, so you can post them slowly, when you aren’t feeling creative.

Post what you enjoy sharing.
Just like anything, if you don’t enjoy what you’re doing, it’s not going to last, long-term.

You’re going to lose steam and burn out.

Find what you actually enjoy posting, and run with it. Pick a niche you’re passionate about. Focus on a group of people you’re inspired to support. And then when it comes to the content itself, if you hate reels, don’t post them! Get really really good at carousels instead. Not a fan of IG? Consider Threads, Pinterest, etc. or focus entirely on your email list or website.

You don’t have to show up everywhere, you just need one place you can show up consistently!!
