What I’d do differently if I was starting my wellness business over.

If I were starting my wellness business over from scratch, these are a few things I’d do differently…

I have no regrets because every decision got me to where I am today, but a few of these changes would have made things flow a lot easier!!

-Spend less money on software + subscriptions.

When I first started, I thought I needed every fancy system to look “legit” and run my practice effectively. But honestly? I would’ve been better off keeping it simple, using free tools, like Google docs, Canva templates, and focusing on getting my name out there instead.

The best way to grow is by JUST STARTING and actually working with people and refining your process as you go. You can always add more software to your business when you start bringing in more money. For now, simplify.

-Create 1-2 signature offers vs. five random ones.

I used to have an offer for everything… single sessions, 6 weeks, 4 months, 6 months, courses, you name it.

It made my messaging confusing and my energy DRAINED. Once I simplified into 1-2 clear signature offers (that people started to know me for) that solved a real problem for my clients, everything got easier: my content, my sales, and my confidence.

Get crystal clear on my message.

You can have the BEST offer in the world, but if people don’t understand what you do or who you help, it won’t land. Look at your offer as if you are a potential customer. Does it make sense? Do you understand exactly what it is providing and the solution that it is solving for? People buy solutions, not services.

I’d spend way more time understanding my audience, what they’re struggling with, and how my services and offers provide them the SOLUTION.

Clarity attracts. Confusion repels.

Wouldn’t stress out about picking a niche.

When I first started in the wellness space, everyone told me it was crucial to have one if I wanted to be successful. I spent way too much time worrying about it. I just wanted to get experience and help different types of people, but I felt pressured to narrow in on something like “gut health” or “fertility.”

Looking back, the best thing I could have done was just start. As you work with more clients, you’ll naturally figure out who you enjoy helping most. Your niche will reveal itself over time. And honestly, if you never want to choose one specific niche, that’s okay too. What matters most is that you’re clear about the solution you provide and who you can help.

Create a no-brainer digital offer.

In the beginning, I focused only on 1:1 clients because that’s what I thought I had to do to be successful, grow my business, and make enough money to keep things going. It worked, but it also burnt me out, big time.

It got to a certain point where the only way for my income to go up was if I increased my prices on 1:1 coaching, or added more calls to my already-packed calendar. It was exhausting, and I quickly realized it was not sustainable.

If I had created a digital product early on, I could have helped more people, reached a bigger audience, and built trust with my audience even faster. PLUS, creating a digital offer helps build an email list, which is super important, especially in the beginning.

By “no-brainer” digital offer, I mean a value-packed, low-ticket resource you put on a passive sales funnel. It’s easy for people to hit “purchase,” and you make sales passively while focusing on other areas of your business or just enjoying life.

Ready to turn your knowledge into passive sales with your first digital offer, but need help knowing where to start?

From 1:1 Burnout to Passive Income is my step-by-step guide for wellness professionals who want to:

– turn their knowledge into a simple digital product

– create income that doesn’t rely on client sessions

– build an offer that works even with a small audience

– make money online in a way that feels aligned, easy, and sustainable
